Barry Allen in Flash

I have a dreambox that has barry allen installed on hard disk, read in the forums that it could mean that the disk is on all the time.

Could someone please tell me how to move it compact flash.

Your hard drive will only spin if you store the images on there, if you multiboot images stored from the CF card, then your HDD wont spin all the time

all depends on the image, as not all support the usb drivers.

Best to use CF cards on the 7025

Now have a compact flash in and formated it.

Will I have to uninstall Barry Allen and then reinstall for it to find the compact flash or can I just move some files about?

Many Thanks

If you install Nabliosat pure flash into flash. You then ftp images to the CF card.

All the info is in the tutorial I pm`ed you

Hi

Rechecked documentation but it does not really address the problem.

BA is currently on the running harddisk and what I want it to do is run from CF (i.e. if the HDD is removed it will still run).

As far as I can tell this involves movins the directory and some symbolic link but not sure on what/how.

I think it would probably be easier to rename the /ba directory (if possible while it is mounted) on the HDD and install the latest version of BA as it should then find no BA on the HDD (otherwise it would update there) and install to the CF.

I will give this a go this weekend.

Nabilosat Pureflash with BarryAllen and CF card?

Hi lads,

I'm looking for some help on how to use Nabilosat's Pureflash with Barry Allen as I'm completely confused about how this works....

I'm currently running Nabilosat Blackhole v0.9 on my DM7025. I was advised to get a Compact Flash card and run the image, EPG and Picons all from the CF card as this would speed everything up and run everything more smoothly. I've bought a Compact Flash card but I don't really understand what I have to do to get the whole thing working as I cannot find anything on the web that explains this well and in detail.

Do I have to flash the box from scratch with both the Nabilo Pureflash Barryallen and the Blackhole V0.9 image?
If so, which do I flash first?
Do I flash with or without the CF card in the box? (have read conflicting info about this)

I want the Blackhole image to run from the CF card, so If anyone is running this successfully and could tell me the order in which I need to do things that would be great. Cheers!
