My System: Potential DM 7025 Linux normally and XP for gaming |
Hi, I want to be able to watch both satellite free-to-air and terrestrial freeview on the one receiver, and to be able to record from either source using the EPG. Are the two receivers in the 7025 fully accessible, or is one only for recording and the other for watching? I'm fairly competent in Linux, so it would not be a problem if a little hacking is required. I don't see any other PVR's on the market that could give me this dual reception. tigest

My System: Antenna: 80cm 2 LNBs Deco: Kaon KTSC-570 Computer: Compaq nx9000 | Hi, With this configuration you can record (and watch if you want) a channel in one of the tuners and see any channel in the other tuner. While recording the tuner is locked to the channel being recorded (for example if you’re recoding the FOX channel you cannot watch any other Satellite Channel but you can watch any freeview channel). PiP works also, as well as VLC if you use Gemini and you want to watch something in your PC. Regards.
