I have posted about this in the past regarding the DB7025 card readers and their inability to read official irdeto cards. I am still having difficulty reading my official irdeto card and found very little help.
I just checked the DreamBox official forum and they claim that the smart card readers are designed to only read Dreamcrypt encryption. What is confusing is that many DB7025 users have no problem reading official irdeto cards with the exception of a few here and there that are also having irdeto reading problems.
The other confusing thing is that my card readers were able to read an official viaaccess card but not irdeto. So how does DreamBox claim that the readers are only for Dreamcrypt encryption. I am totaly confused now and would realy appreciate anyone who can guide me in the right direction to solve this mystery of the DB 7025 card readers.
