Hi guys, I know there's been much talk about EPG in the past. Whats the word these days on Sly UK EPG and specifically on the DM800. Is there any specific image that runs it better and is there a plugin required / available to do this ? Cheers MCC  | ||

My System: -DM800 fixed on 28.2-quad -DM7020 motorized -Skystar HD2 motorized -Cards&Cams&Cas | Hi, the PLI images have Radiostation data downloaded for the S&Yuk via a SQL plugin. It is the best I've found so far "out of the box" | ||

Hiya, I managed to install the e2_loadepg from ambrosa on my DM800 and I must say, that I am quite happy with it. The script downloads Data from radiotimes and compiles it into a epg.dat file. Download and compilation takes quite a while but works fine. Channel mapping is not necessary as the information is directly correlated to the SID of the channels found in the lamedb. I was quite amazed that the plugin even manages to download SlyItalia data straight from the OpenTV Stream from the transponder... It seems therefore to be possible to do the same on the SlyUK Channels but it has not yet been implemented in the script... Cheers, bacon352 | ||
