Exclamation How to activate WLAN in DM800

I have a problem that I cannot activate the WLAN on my DM800 as the whole option is not there.

I have changed the Kernel Module with 'Yes' for WLAN, but with no use.

I don't find the WLAN plugin within the ADDONS!!!

I have tried all the options but the WLAN is still not there?

What shall I do? please help me?

I'm using the latest Gemini 2 Image 4.10 and don't want to change it.

I dont think I have an answer but having a quick look around it looks like the Gemini images are not the best for WLAN support. Im using BH0.9 and I cant find an option for WLAN either. Apparently the LT images offer good WLAN support, might be worth a try. I know you want to stick with Gemini but perhaps try some others at least to see if you can get it working. Try Barry Allen on a USB stick as this saves a bit of time.

The way to get the wlan menu to appear in BH09 is to plug your usb adapter into the box, then reboot. If your dongle is compatible the wlan option will now be in the network menu.

I have a wireless dongle which I'm trying to get to work withmy DM800 running BH 0.8 - plugging it in and rebooting does nothing. I cant believe it is just not compatable as if I install it into a laptop it requires drivers and passwords etc to make it work. Is there anything different in BH 0.9 which would get it recognised? I feel there must be something more that I am missing

Looking around other forums it looks like your dongle needs to have either a "Zydas ZD1211B" or "RAlink RT73" chipset but I could be wrong.

Can we start a list of wireless dongles that will work with the DM800?
If anyone has wireless working can they list what they are using together with their image
