Why doesn't positioner work on the 800

I have gone to an 800 from a 7020 and find setting up multisat a nightmare.
The colured buttons are supposed to move the dish but they appear to have a life of their own. The positioner movement works intermittently and so does the fine movement. SMS told me it was software but I have tried three images. I got it to work for a bit with Black hole 10 but I changed my LNB and every thing went pear shaped. I have never had this sortproblem with the 7020. Anyone got any ideas?

If he were not a wizard, from head down to the root, you would have got to worry-your DB only boots

I have a 7020 and I don't understand what you mean?

You don't stop playing because you get old, you get old because you stop playing. Regras

On the 800 the red, green, yellow and blue buttons steer the dish to the sat.

I had same problem in the beginning. The misstake i made was that i didn't first choose a satellite and transponder in the rotor menu.
The box dosen't know what transponder you are trying to finetune or search, thats why its living its own life.

When you are in the "PositionerSetup" menu, first press the RED button and choose a satellite and a valid transponder, then press OK.Now you can move your dish manual without any problems.

I do not use the Usals setup.
