My System: DM800 running BH v11G2, 2 x Sky Minidishes with DiSEqC switch pointing at Astra 28.2E and Hotbird 13E |
Hi all, Just looking for a bit of advice. I have a sky minidish (Im in Northern Ireland) pointed at Hotbird 6/8/9 and noticed my signal has started to break up in the last couple of weeks which I have been putting down to heavy rain showers. Today however its dry and sunny and I still notice the picture breaking up. I had a look in satfinder and I see these readings - 7.0dB SNR 43% AGC 99% BER flucuates between 0 and 1800. Do you think the dish has dropped out of alignment or should I use a slightly bigger dish? I have another dish pointed at Astra 28.5 and it doesnt suffer from the same problems. Thanks

My System: Triax 1.1m and Orbital 80cm Motorised Dishes. Various fixed Dishes. Eclectic selection of Digital and Analogue Receivers. Complex switching and distribution that SWMBO cannot fathom. Nor me. | Something as simple as a loose connection or possibly water leaching into the cable (capillary action can be significant once a point of entry opens up).
