Signal breakup advice

Hi all,

Just looking for a bit of advice. I have a sky minidish (Im in Northern Ireland) pointed at Hotbird 6/8/9 and noticed my signal has started to break up in the last couple of weeks which I have been putting down to heavy rain showers. Today however its dry and sunny and I still notice the picture breaking up.
I had a look in satfinder and I see these readings - 7.0dB SNR 43% AGC 99% BER flucuates between 0 and 1800.
Do you think the dish has dropped out of alignment or should I use a slightly bigger dish? I have another dish pointed at Astra 28.5 and it doesnt suffer from the same problems.
Thanks

My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 6 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/10E/13E/16E/ 19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S

The last noble sat warrior to fly the olden flag of Analogue

Sounds like the dish has moved a little.

My System: Triax 1.1m and Orbital 80cm Motorised Dishes. Various fixed Dishes. Eclectic selection of Digital and Analogue Receivers. Complex switching and distribution that SWMBO cannot fathom. Nor me.

Something as simple as a loose connection or possibly water leaching into the cable (capillary action can be significant once a point of entry opens up).
