Help : Err01 No CA Found (dreambox newb)

Hi,

I just got a DM800 and after reading " Flash Your DM800 - The Easy Way" guide I proceed to connect to the box, follow the instructions and try and put on the "NabiloBlackHole_DM800_012" image.

Unfortunately something has gone wrong, now I'm getting the error "ERR01 NO CA FOUND" and its saying go to www.dm7020.com???

I tried to get back into it to via the ipaddress, but it wont connect now?

How can I get it back? I don't have an RS232 cable to connect it directly to the PC?

Can I flash it via a USB?

Please help! It cos €250

Perhaps its IP address has changed, can you login to your router and check the IP address of your STB that way?

****. Can't get into the router. Don't have password, I'm not im my own gaff doing this. Does anybody know the generic username / password for a netgear router?

If not, ping all adresses on your subnet, you'll get a reply eventually.

ipconfig, to get your routers ip.

Oh, just remembered, the Dreambox Control Center has a facility to do this for you, can take a while though.

Hi
I had the same problem with mine
Mine is a clone and the bh012 needs a higher
bootloader than a clone will take so the box does not
boot up. I had to get a null modem lead use dreamup
to reflash the box with older image I think I used bh08
then it was ok again if its not a clone you will still need
to use dreamup to re-flash it its not quick it took just
under 1 hour to flash with dreamup hope that helps
