Dreambox 8000 in Brazil with SKY brasil?

hello,

i am going to live in barsil (são paulo) this year. i want to take my dreambox 8000 with me. and sure i want to use it.
they are using nds videoguard too. i want do a contract with them and use the card in my dreambox.
that 220V to 127V or 110V problem is not realy a problem. i can handle that.

is it possible? i mean....i guess that it is not that easy. just plug in and play. or could it be?

all readers, please forgive me my english....i am not a native speaker.

Well testo99, if you click the red 'A' against a Sky Brazil channel in Lyngsat, the address and website may help you to contact them with your questions.

thanks @ Llew
i would like to do so BUT the problem is that other boxes than the official are not allowed. that box is part of the contract. so i won´t be able to use the support.

i found out that the sky is broadcasted over the intelsat 11 43.1°W. they are using the C band and the KU band.

i hope that someone is able to help me with my problem.

thank you @ thehaka

is there a HD channel avalible at sky brasil? the website doesn´t speak about but maybe i am only to blind to see it.

135 R$ for 2 cards is good. there is that law the the pay tv providers have to give a second card for free right?
