Are there different revisions of the 8000.

If so what fixes or changes have been made.

My System: Dreambox 7020 with 120 gig hard-drive disk - running a motorised dish DM800 +DM600 +DM500 although only usually the 7020 and 800 are both on.

Can someone please explain what revision 2 is then?, I've heard alot of talk of fixes in revision 2 boxes.

Is it an improved software patch rather than a hardware change?

Ah, ok thanks.

Currently no stocks anywhere it seems, and the one I saw going 2nd hand on Ebay went for more than the seller said it cost her new.

Its a crazy crazy world.

PS - I checked today about the new sept stock due and there are no changes planned, same box and hardware as previous sold 8000.

Hi iko, Hi All,
Wish you good luck for the new receiver.
I just think that must be even soon a hardware change. (It is not possible without when we speak about a new product). they will have a new "original" recognition system as written on their Internet site.
If I buy and pay that price I like to be sure that got an original.
What No. Revision you have already?
