Hi, i have just bought an 8000 which will be arriving in a few days but what i would like to know is, if i buy a slimline blu-ray re-writer then can i still use the DVD functionality of it until blu-ray is supported properly by linux? I have heard of some results with blu-ray drives used on a Dreambox by just using the DVD function of it but i am not sure which models will work, so which model what handles both should work or theoretically should they all work?
