This utility has had a fair degree of success, but of course you use it at your own risk.

| I'm Sorry, but it's true. This does'nt mean that sometimes it works. The ATR resureccion.exe was made to automate the string that the program Sorry Shakes 3.1.1 sends to the Rom3 card whet it was update to the version 377: ROM 3 DISABLE BUGCASTERS and then RESET. Sometimes you need to push those buttons hundreds of time to recover the ATR from the card. Probably the string it sends to the card could recover an ART form the titanium, but i think that it is impossible. | ||

| Thanks to mohsintunsi In the little recovery proggy (I have the spanish version); you have to check the right com port (1 or 2) to which your programmer with titanium is plugged and select the phoenix mode 3.68. The readme text isists that it has to be 3.68 and not 3.57. Then; all you have to do is start the recovery by clicking "rescucitar" ("recover") and wait until the program stops. The text says the recovery is not guaranteed but it shouldn't take more than 3 minutes. Give it 5 to be sure. Then try to erase your card. If it doesn't work with Titanium prog 1.10.2, try earlier versions. Mine was finally successfully erased after three or four trials with various versions. Good luck!

| I mistakenly thought I had a problem with my white titanium's ATR (it was brand new), as I couldnt find any OS or ATR using the 1.10.12 progger. So I tried running this recovery tool and now I have what seems to be an infinite number of different ATR's on the card. I've been erasing for hours now, using TMB 2.6, and have gotten virgin state lots of times, for different ATR's (OS 0, 9.4, 0.8). But I still cant program any files onto it, and at the moment I just continue erasing in the hope of finally resetting the card. Consider this a warning, but help/recommendations are also very welcome. Btw, TMB is the only progger I've found that can erase, though the bananaprogrammer can identify ATR, Oh yeah, I am using a smartmouse /phoenix programmer with 3.58/phoenix setting. bundu | ||

Thanks - I'll give it a try on one of the cards. Nothing by trying! John | |||

| I had a Blue Tit card. Tried to erase it with Multiprog 1.8 and Cardproggers of different versions- from 1.[1].10.0 to 1.[1].8.1 - no success, "Unsupported OS found", "No ATR", progger hangs up forever and worked all night, using Centrino 1.6 of my IBM notebook 98%.. I think it's dead, but tried a program from AD teknik site- MP test diagnostic tool. It says- ATR OK, 3B 24 00 30 42 30 30, all other OK, too, except "Fail to send 1+7 bytes". What should I do? | I found an queer thread in this theme: "...I suspect you have confuse your Titanium card with DSTC's research project called Titanium. While the DSTC's project - Titanium has been involved in developing new smart card technology, we do not sell nor offer any smart card with our developed smart card technology. In answer to your question, a card's ATR can be easily retrieved by just about any smart card diagnostic tool available. Most smart card readers I know also included such diagnostic tool. In your case, if you require just the card's ATR, then you probably find it easier to look what's available under your smart card reader's driver. Cheers, Eddy" ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Wed, 14 Jan 2004 15:40:21 +0100 From: Eugenio Diaz <redersys*cetib.ictnet.es> Subject: TITANIUM CARD I have a TITANIUM CARD v 1.02, that I lost de ATR.
