Hi,

Cable TV discussion is not permitted.
Expect one of the mods to close this thread.
If you decide to use a satellite dish, this is the best forum for it

Welcome. As you are in Bangalore it will be somewhat difficult to get FTA Adult channels from the Hotbird like satellites which are transmitting the adult content OR otherwise you have to invest a huge amount for dish and other hardwares to catch these birds but it is also not 100% foolproof. There is no satellites, which have adult oriented content officially in India. If you are going thru threads you may get a clear idea.
Aslo no CABLE TALKS in the forum.

Closing this one was a bit harsh - he is saying hes a cable user who wants adult channels via satellite - thats ok - we can convert him to a proper hobby

Ive reopened it for now as the second post - (which Ive deleted as it hadnt got any replies) made it clear.

serchingeye first of all welcome to the forum. You have to understand that there are NO adult channels of any kind found on any of the Indian satellites - your Government has banned any such channel from being carried on Indian owned or operated satellites. Therefore you have to look elsewhere for your thrills.

Personally Id suggest the internet

however favoured places in northwestern India can pick up some of the European channels off the Hotbird Satellites located at 13E, although you are looking at a pretty big dish 6-8 feet minimum to stand any chance. The other possibility is REN TV off one of the Russian sats. Theres plenty of info about dish sizes required for that on in India on the forum in the Indian sub section, and theres no point me speculating on that one as I have no real idea of REN reception..

The other possibility if you have reasobable broadband speed is to find a kind soul in Europe who can slingbox (placeshift) adult channels to you via broadband.

Thumbs up

Dear

Fact No.1: There are no adult channels over Indian sky (neither by Indian satellites or foreign satellites)
Fact No.2: If it will available then govt will ban it after a week/month
Fact No.3: Never try for these type channels in India/B'lore
Fact No.4: May be few states from north may get some European satellites signals carrying such content/channel
Fact No.5: I'll suggest you to regularly visit ur local DVD library shop or websites (you must ve 2mbps broadband )

My System: coship receiver 2000,Dreambox 500;2 ku3cband dishes of 2,4,6&8feet,amd 64 pc with 1GB ram usb tv tuner card

He is suggested to spend a good amount of money in purchasing 8-10 ft.Dish of excellant quality with proper feed horn LNB and receiver, his existing cable could be of little use .
If he likes to search for a few good scenes cut from some movies he requires a boradband internet connection, search on utube or google video,mobile9,etc.however,chances are that his home computer will be infected with viruses.
whatever he desires,he will get it provided he is prepared to sacrifice good amount of money and invaluable time to seek what he really wants.

I thought the purpose of this forum was to acheve a collective cause.... adult entertainment in India. However its sad to see everyone quite negative and at time downright stand-offish. Very odd place, this one....

You will find the regulars get fed up of answering the same old questions over and over again because folks can be bothered to use the search .
