Hi,

My HDCI-2000 has been used to see scrambled programs of "Canaldigital" on Thor 0.8W through toroidal T90. However, only few HD channel signals but not others like BBC HD and Discouvery HD when the firmware was on V16. After downgraded firmware to v11, I cannnot even see ALL of the scrambled programe (HD+SD). Instead, it showes "no connection" on the popup Commen Interface windows.

I only have CAM Conax v4 but not Diablo [2.23] CAM. Could someone who has the same STB/CAM combination and has the experience on that kindly help me out? Thanks in advance!

Regards,
Anna

I have to use subtitles and on many programmes the subtitles are often displayed with the present phrase or sentence over written on top of the previous, which makes it difficult to read, and recently there have sometimes been three sentences on top of one another.

I only get this problem when watching recorded or live programmes through the Humax box. When watching live programmes on a lead direct from the dish with the Humax turned off or on analogue the subtitles are clearly separated.

Has anyone else who uses subtitles had this problem?

I bought it from a UK retailer, but there is no mention of it on the Humax UK website, nor any other Humax website AFAICS.
I found a link to http://www.humax-digital.de/products/Uniformula_v2.1.09.zip
but this does not recognise the UDF file from my box that I saved to a USB stick. It fails with F1_ERR_FORMULA_IDENTIFYER
In the manual it says:
"1. Download the Uniformula programme into
your PC (http://www.humaxdigital.com) and
install the Uniformula."
Very unhelpful when my model is unlisted!
Anyone else own an HDCI-5000?

Hope this helps.
