CM Polar Mount and Fibo

Hi,

Does the CM Polar Mount Fit the fibo???

Does anybod have a closeup picture of the CM Polar mount?

Yes it does fit with a little modification

You have to add some angle brackets to the bottom set

of bolts and also extend the threaded bar at the top.

I think scopous is the best person to ask as its his mod.

Was thinking about doing it my self.

I have a C/master 1.2m dish and polar mount here if you want too swap them for your 1224 mate?

Thanks for the images...I will contact scopous to get more details out of him...

As of now I am not selling the 1224 but may do so once I manage to sort out a decent mount for the Fibo

Hello!
i bought this mount in auktion house should reveive this week!
then i can try after winter is over on other antennas,

is there,a special adapter plate nesercary,between the polarmount,and the antenna,i have the 90 cm cm,but curencly not installed coz the polarmount was missing,now the system is complete i hope..
maybe still miss some parts?
to conect th emount,on the backside?

i only heavey big 36" acutrators,maybe i must buy small 8" acurator,outerwise it could happen that i dont have the full range,like on gibertini ,when i use big motors,so what should i do?

18inch actuator should be well enough for a 90cm dish

The channelmaster/Andrews adapter for the 1224 would probably work, as the dish mounting bolts on the 1.2m fibo`s are different to the 90cm fibo bolts.

You would have to drill new holes for the location of the 90cm mounting bolts on the adapter plate.

An 18" actuator would be fine for that channel master mount. Can you get hold of any more c/master polar mounts?

Good Morning!

now,after a long search,of 5 years i have found a used fibo 1,25 mount,but there was now screws includes,what type must i use?
also i have a new channel master mount,the size is here 9 cm,and fibo mount has 8,5 cm to fit it!

now,i diinstall my jager dual axis system,with gibertini mount that never works corectly,any always must use a . positioner for the western and eastern stalites,hope soon cold rainy weater will be ofer..
maybe i also try to install the channel master mount on the triax 1,40 m dish!

Those are the 2 adapter plates I am looking for...... :-(

Can you send me the exact measurements of those 2 plates please?

okay,no problem,i recharge my camera at the moment i measure it s.a.p.for you!

you only want the size of the adapter plate?

yes thoose parts,very expensice,i paid nearly 100€ each,coz shipping was aroung 40€ each item..very heavey the cm mount much more then the fibo,on the fibo mounts and channel master all screws are missing..
what type is exactly needed on each mount?

I think the screws are 10mm type...
