My System: 1.2M & 55cm Gregorian Dish`s, 1.5m Gibertini on a Jaeger 1224 H-H motor. Dreambox 7025 200gb HD, Vbox-II. SS2 Card.

The egis is far too heavy duty for the light weight fibo.
way too expensive!

Turok, maybe a local electronic`s firm could repair your egis at half the cost?

Hi!
dont have any iformation, motor does not recognieized it is 10 years old, maybe its better i buy i new one, then it could happens that i pay allot, and then it only work a little while..
thx for the pictures, when you have no polarmount for pfa antennas,on egis it nice, you can use,the adapter plate, and then it is posible to motoreized every antenna system,!

but iam not sure,is the egis strong enough for the 3 meter channel master, then i could replace,it with my current dual axis system, what is the maximum antenna weight, that egis can handle?

Red face

The max payload of the Egis is 50kgs, but it will handle 85 kgs, but counter balance is needed.

how heavy is your 3m dish?

up to 100 to 130 kg

i hrard reports ,that is also posible with egis this size, but, when the antenna moves back from deepest position in the west and east 58w for e.g,then it could happens, that the egis controll unit, with the 16 conecter cables, will, switch off,and cannot move up the antenna, from this position!

,first i want to install, the dual axis system ,that was included, when i have no luck, and its to complex to handel, then i will hope egis will do the job!
stronger motors then egis are very expensice,up to 3000€!++
i hope that it works,i will see it in spring, more news, when winter is over, and system installed!
