New Fibo going up soon

I should have my 90cm Fibo up in a couple of weeks, I'll let you know what I get
About time you got a decent dish Rolf

Does it come with the fibo polar mount? If so why not mod it to a disec motor.

Fibo Gregorian - alternative motor setups

If you want any of the parts let me know ill send you some FOC.

Robbo got a C/master 1.2m and polar mount with brand new 18" jack for sale £100

My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

I've three 1.2 CMs in my sideway and two polarmounts in the garage, but I don't really want something that big.

I've had the Fibo for several months, got the motor coming, does the motor not come complete with the mount?

The motor does un bolt from the polar mount.

So there is a good chance your just getting the motor.

I know snuffer has polar mounts, as im buying one from him.

Didnt the polar mount come with the dish?

No, the dish has an AZEL mount on it. I'll check with Snuffer, and order one if the motor doesn't come with the polarmount.

The 90cm polar mount also fits the 55cm, but not the 1.2m

I'm going to move these few posts to the Fibo section, as it has hijacked Robbo's thread.

I'd thought about the diseqC mod, but I've already got a V-Box in the garage begging to be used.

rolf, if no +5v then you could use johnsatt`s reed mod in the fibo motor.

wod, you wont need the +5v if your going to use the 1224.

Ah I see, it needs +5 for the optical sensor.

Just checked, it's a Superjack V-Box II, no +5v

I bought one and chucked it on my Moteck late last year. Very pleased with it. Using a White Tech twin. Will be interested to hear how you find it.

My System: Skystarcard,Fortec's life time ultra's, MaxPlus 2100's,Dreambox and a Tandberg

Read this and a little suprise do not change the motor but the VBOX
I have a modification for it so you can take that 5 Volts out of that box in 15 minuts.

Step 1
Close to the processor there are a jumper called JP3 This is 5 Volts solder a wire and make it outsite or with a nice connection (its 5 V + so becare full not touch the alu)
Step 2
Resitand R3 next to the relais are 3300 Ohm remove it for a wire direct (no restand) and ready are the box with 5 Volts.

Rolfw no the mount is not there its only a motor and the 120 mount is not the same as 99Cm i will look of there is a 120 cm somewhere perhaps in a corner.

P.s sorry for bad English bud i hope you untherstand the Modification for it.
Plaese let me know of you have don it THX

You can sell the polar mount to rolf snuffer, its fine, as It was for my 55cm Fibo, but I will just mount it on a disec motor.
