I think its useless if you stand to the use off the orginal subreflector (mine is 240 mm wth) and 2 feedhorns (90 mm ).

I 've been messuring and drawing , 2 feedhorns in front off the subr. gives an off-set from 40º !!

2 subreflectors in front off the 120 cm Fibo gives an off-set from 16º .
On a 90 cm fibo are approc. the same size subrefl.
By a shorter focalpoint-lenght , this will even give a greater off-set angle .

Off course you can remove de subrefl. , make de feedarm longer and place 2 (or more) Lnbf's on a rail , but than you must scratch away the sign "Gregorian"

My soldering iron is smoking all the time .

Is it yours ?
As I see it well , the original feedhorn is gone and on his place a standard lnbf .

My soldering iron is smoking all the time .

No,it's not my dish.I took the picture over at my neighbours house.

Actually I've tried the same thing and believe it or not,I didn't loose too much pq compared to the stock feedhorn....

guess what I'd just found those pics in the satlex website, and came back here to see steffan had already posted the link... nice one! I'm sure that's a homemade multifeed holder, probably not the same thing Turok mentioned right?

Your right Camelon, that's homebrew. His setup works very well though.

I have experimented a lot with the Fibo, and I'm happy to answer any questions about that dish if I can.

Hello!
good evening!
when,we would have,the orginal size,of the multifeed holder,then i think"homemade"should also perform very well!
2 years ago on other sat boards i found a pircutre, there was installed nerly 5 lnbs on one fibo antenna, but i lost it after a harddic crash in the past!

on the multifeed holder itself,it would be much easier to fit a cband lnb!

My System: Skystarcard,Fortec's life time ultra's, MaxPlus 2100's,Dreambox and a Tandberg

But than it's not more a Gregorian so what is the winning part of it???

Better is make on the feedhorn a mod to use 2 LNB's not on the small dish place.

Hi Snuffer!
this picutre what i have, looks like an adaption, nothing have been modified from orginal

best thing is,to try the cband we must notmodified the antenna itself,we must modified, the lnb, break the plastik,of a relativly smale inverto lnb, then put,the cband electronic ,inside ,into a bigger kuband flansch lnb, like the old mti`s
then, good material around for water protection, and i think it should work, but it needs a lot of time!

Cool

Hi Guys,

this Multifeedholder is for real, no joke.

Aside from that, I wonder for what the second adapted lnb on the satlex pics is for?!?

Hello and welcome on board

here,is now a picture of this legandary multifeedholder, that no one have it...
intresting would be,the orginal size,to create one !
modell with out subreflector, then gainwining not good, but a modificaiton i couple of years ago,i found on the net,was moded, with the subrefloector and the multifeed adtionaly added,i think this would be the best solution, but not easy to made !

Now its not more a gregorian so the gain is low and as a normal dish.
One of the best thing from the FIBO are the gregorian effect.

My System: , Fibo Gregorian 1.2mtr, Skystar 2

I think the Torodial 90 is the best performing multi-LNB dish in it's category...

Simpel a gregorian type is make by the small dish in front when you make a second lnb as on the picture its not a gregorian type for that lnb. Bud a normal dish.
The gain and corner from a normal dish is lower than a gregorian so the effect is as a normal simpel dish for that second lnb.
Thats it.

some of the toridial 90 dishes, has a design fault, and gain wining is not so good like it should be,when i take a signal meter, the gregory 55 cm brings 0,5 -0.8 db more, gain winning then the smalest gregory with 55 cm!

for most,of the satelites t 90 is enough, but, for optimal results the antenna must be optimeized !

i dont like toridial, the material quality is to flimsy, and when hail is coming you can put the toridal into the trashcan!

a old gregory ,or other types,of old school antennas, are masive enough!
