Fibo setup ?

Hi all Fibo lovers.

A am also graezy about this nice dish and have find in the last year here the complete range 55Cm with motor 99Cm with motor and 120 Cm with motor all are never used and in perfect sondition.

i missing from the 120 Cm the manual they 55 and 99 are there and ok.

Now i have 2 asks about it:
1 is there someone that have a copy of the 120 Cm for me.

Also i read about problems with motors a good friend of my make's this options see photo.
Also the nylon part are made from a special meta'.
If you look arround you can find orginal parts but the prices are higher end more.

Also i found outthat the electro motor from premotec is made in Holland and this company have 35 last in stock. They are the orginal motors.
http://www.premotec.nl/ its not more on the site but the have in stock Monday 23 - 04 - 2007 he told me wath price he will have for this stock and perhaps its intrested for users of this great Dishes.

Back to my problem.

2- I place the 99 Cm here and find out that the pionts for lat. must be the same. my QTH are 53 degrees (Amsterdam) its in the manual.
I have signal over the clarkbelt from 58 E to 45 W and can see all Sat in that line.

Here is something i do not understand my 99 dish are not on 53 but arround 28 degrees the 53 are on the mound but 28 is on the back of the 99.
How is this posible?? any of you can explane??

Thanks for helping in advance and perhaps we can starting a FIBO owner group and help with parts etc all over the small internet world

Im sure rolfw or AS would open a new fibo section for us

Hi there compatriot

Most important parts of the 120 cm manual can be found here:
http://www.satellite-calculations.com/Fibo/fibo.htm

If you want the whole thing (not really much more in there, I can scan it for you, let me know.

And yes, great idea about the Fibo owners club!

Ron,

I scanned the Fibo 120 manual, it is (temporarily) available for download at
http://www.deprada.net/fibo120.pdf

I don't suppose there are any copyright issues since this is a discontinued product form a company that went out of business.

Hope this helps.

I asked the question because I know that it is the same mount for the 55cm and the 90cm dish, but accepting that I can't see all the detail of the modification, I would be a little concerned to drive the 90cm dish via the 5mm dowel through the 14mm dia shaft.

I have a similar modded 55cm dish, but I have also bolted it to the shaft.

I have a similar modded 90cm dish, but the drive is through a plate bolted to the dish bracket.

Yeah I know I scanned it in a hurry last night without worrying much about file size. I'll get it down to a more reasonable size and upload here.

If you do it as separate jpegs or gifs in monochrome, you should be able to post them in a thread or zip them up to post as an attachment.
