From the BBC News Desk Man City sign Brazilian midfielder Geovanni on a free deal. The 27-year-old, who has represented his country four times, joins on a one-year deal from Cruzeiro. And he brings a wealth of experience having previously played for Barcelona and Benfica, representing both Iberian clubs in the Champions League.
