From the BBC News Desk Newcastle's Michael Owen will miss his club's next two friendlies after suffering thigh injury in training. The 27-year-old is also likely to miss Celtic's visit to Tyneside on Thursday evening, but boss Sam Allardyce expects Owen to return within 10 days. He said: "Hopefully, it will be no more than 10 days and he should be back. "It may be a little early for the Celtic match, but we hope he will be fit to face Juventus on the Sunday." More...
