My System: FortecStar Passion LG 1080p 38" Sky basic box Liteon HD/DVD recorder |
Hi everyone, this is my first post and I have just purchased a Fortecstar passion from maplins. I'm VERY pleased with it and found it easy to set up. What I need is a step by step instruction for installing the new firmware from the fortecstar web site. I understand how to download and put both the loader and the software files onto a memory stick but am a little confused as to what to do next. I also understand that the loader has to go on first, but from there on I need it clearing up for me!!! Hope you can help, Hotshot ( Andy )

To transfer your files, plug in your USB stick, press Menu on your remote, then - Right click to Channel Edit Click on S/W transfer Click OK on System Update Make sure Transfer Mode shows USB Click OK and then left or right in the Transfer Mode box to find your loader file. Press OK and wait for the transfer to complete. Box reboots. For the channel list transfer, go back to Channel Data Transfer in Menu and USB Read in the Transfer Mode box and repeat sequence as above. Llew
