My System: Standard sky dish Fortec Passion Receiver
Frozen - 'Loader V15'

Novice at this, so possibly done something irreparable?

Udated, via USB, loader v150 and p2_av102_20080707

Recieved message on screen that installation was complete but tv screen remained blank and display on receiver frozen with message 'Loader 15'

Have inserted USB with loader v_150.dnl as sole feature. Get:
File Read - File1-Loader-Scan/Erase-Good-LoaderV15

And that's it, nothing appears thereafter.

Help appreciated,
Dave.

Do you have the Passion+ or the standard Passion HD box ? The firmware you are trying to load is for the Passion+ (the loader works on either).

If you put loader 1.5 on before you attempted the firmware update you might be OK as 1.5 is meant to stop the wrong version from being loaded. The latest official release for the standard Passion can be found here...

If you have manged to put Passion+ firmware onto your box you may have caused permanent damage. I would suggest trying the latest firmware anyway to see if it loads. There was another forum member who made the mistake the other way, i.e. Passion HD firmware on a Passion+, and it killed his USB ports.

Ratchet/Briamb,

Happy to report that your suggestions have cured the problem!!

Latest download 're-awoke' the box and re-set factory settings to include ITV HD.

Many thanks,

Dave.
