My System: Fortec Star Passion+

I've got exactly the same problem. I've got the Passion+ receiver and a couple of days ago I suddenly couldn't get a picture for Das Erste HD, ZDF HD and Arte HD, but sound on all three channels. All other HD channels were fine. Tried rescanning too and tried downgrading the firmware. No luck and now I can't get the picture for Einsfestival HD either. Emailed Fortec Star, but only got the reply to check other HD channels so far.

My System: Azurewave AD-SP400(1041) DVB-S2 AMD5600 PC Also Fortec Passion+
Problem may be HD+

Seems these channels are being upgraded to HD+ I have never come across it but it looks as if you will need a box or card (probably not available in UK) to continue viewing these channels

As far as I know the HD+ is for the privately owned channels. But the four channels missing on the Fortec Star receivers aren't private.

And it mentions in that link

"...all unencrypted HD programs of, for example, Das Erste, ZDF and ARTE as well as all other digital offers broadcast via ASTRA, will be available."

That doesn't sound to me that you shouldn't get Das Erste & Co with a "normal" HD receiver.
If someone with a non Fortec Star receiver would confirm that they can't get the channels anymore, than it would be a different story. But on three different forums the problems were only mentioned by Fortec Star owners.

My System: Triax 1.1m and Orbital 80cm Motorised Dishes. Various fixed Dishes. Eclectic selection of Digital and Analogue Receivers. Complex switching and distribution that SWMBO cannot fathom. Nor me.

No problems with those Channels on my Humax Foxsat.

Tivù, could you let me know the video PID of one of the channels (or all of them if you like)?

Sure - give me a few minutes as my Shack is not near the Foxsat.

High children,

sid:11120
pcr-pid:6210
video-pid:6210
Audio-pid:6220
Das Erste HD: Astra 19,2E, 11361MHz., Hor. 22.000MS/s
tsid:1011
oid:1
sid:11100
pcr-pid:6010
video-pid:6010
audio-pid:6020
ZDF HD: Astra 19,2E, 11361MHz.,Hor. 22.000MS/s
tsid:1011
oid:1
sid:11110
pcr-pid:6110

It should however be noted that the Erste & Zdf are at the moment only working as test channels at the moment, advertising what the German public will be able to see in the future. I believe they will show some HD tv in Dec.

Hi Fortecstar1. Can you arrange to have the new software uploaded to the Fortecstar site when it's confirmed to be working OK?

Cheers, Llew.

Same problem here, I had this some time ago but it cleared. I did get a picture on ZDF HD after it was left on this channel overnight, but no luck since. What are the 5 digit V PIDs? There are only 4 digits quoted here and on Lyngsat and King of Sat. There are 5 digit SID's but so do many other channels (anixe HD etc).

Someone on satdudez said his receiver suddenly showed the Video PIDs 22394 (Das Erste HD), 22494 (ZDF HD) and 22594 (Arte HD). So far no one else confirmed that they had the same and entering them didn't help.
It seems like Fortec Star have acknowledged there is a problem and hopefully something will be done soon.

My System: Maplin supplied Fortec Star 80 cm motorised dish. Fortec Star Innovation receiver / 8Gb USB stick.
Innovation / Das Erste etc

As a new member I'm not clear on whether the problem with these 3 HD channels is or is not being addressed by Fortec
As you'll have guessed I have the same problem namely audio but no video
Are we now waiting for Fortec?
You blokes seem to have done all the hard work. Wish I'd joined earlier - could have saved myself a lot of aggravation!!
