Diablo/Mrev Cams ![]() Fighting the evil 3 Dragons under the Don Quixote banner,Sir Llew persevered where others failed | Further to the last post, in standby mode and Power Search on, the receiver switches on after about a minute and does the searching - but it only seems to work if you are using DiseqC 1.2 I use DiseqC 1.0 into a four port switch and it doesn't work using this mode, although from what I gather Fortec say it should. My System: Skystar2, Fortecstar Passion HD, moteck 2100, Lidl 80cm dish | I'm having a problem adding Eurobird3 33.0E to the list of satellites in the passion. It's not in the default list. I can type the name in the "add satellite" box but I can't see how to enter the position of the sat - it just assigns 10.0 E to any satellite I add. Can anyone help?

My System: Dreambox 7000, Skystar2 | Wouldn't have touched it without one to be honest, but now it looks a more reasonable package. So what do we think chaps? What are the remaining niggles with this box? A worthwhile Christmas present?

Diablo/Mrev Cams ![]() Fighting the evil 3 Dragons under the Don Quixote banner,Sir Llew persevered where others failed | I still have issues with the Diablo cam on first powering up the box. (this is with the latest firmware). With mine, it seems to need to have been 'warmed up' between three and six minutes (depending on the ambient temperature in the room) for successful initialisation of the cam. Another possibility I suppose is that there is some data interchange going on between the processor and the Cimax cam controller chip that needs to be completed. although why it takes so long I have no idea. My System: Dreambox 7000, Skystar2 | Is this sub-channel switching on one of the coloured buttons Llew? If so, does it work? The CAM init is a bit odd. Sounds like some boot-time dependencies might be wonky/delayed?!? Does it initialise properly if you insert it say 10 mins+ after boot? Interesting stuff. I have way more questions than answers!

Diablo/Mrev Cams ![]() Fighting the evil 3 Dragons under the Don Quixote banner,Sir Llew persevered where others failed | It's the Option button Stick. You go to the Sport Portal channel, press Opt and this brings up the current sub-channel list. There's four on mine ATM, but it'll obviously depend on what's available at the time. When viewing each channel, going to the channel list you can see where it appears in the list - they seem to be randomly placed there. You can then either view the channel by selecting its channel number, or (easier) go back to the portal channel and press Opt again. As to the Diablo fiasco: yes, it initialises straight away when inserted after the box has been on for ten minutes from cold. I normally give it six minutes now, seems to be the best option for guaranteed initialisation. This applies to all cams I have (when I used the Dragon before, the box had been on for some time). Strange indeed. I can live with it though, now I know the procedure... Llew

My System: Skystar2, Fortecstar Passion HD, moteck 2100, Lidl 80cm dish | I've now got a Diablo cam and cas2+ programmer which is working ok in the Fortec Passion. I was hoping I could use my s*y freesat card in the cam to get Channel4 and 5, but I can't get this to work. The card works fine in the s*ybox. Any thoughts?

Are you using the latest Stealth 225? Llew
