San Remo song festival is the main reason for my getting into the satellite hobby. For years I was hoping that my cable company would surprise me one day by adding Rai Uno to their channels list so that I would once a year enjoy the San Remo festival. When I finally gave up on them, I decided to install a dish, point it to Hot Bird 13E and get it myself. When the Rai Uno picture was on my TV set, I immediately rang the cable company and informed them that their services are no longer required. Since then I have enjoyed it every year around March and it turned out to be not only one day but 5 days of about 4 hours each night. This year the 58th Song Festival will be a little bit early and the dates are 25th February 2008 - 1st March 2008 Website : _http://www.sanremo.rai.it Enjoy | ||

One of the songs that I liked in the San Remo 2007 Song Festival was Amore Ritrovato by Sara Galimberti The video file for the 3 minute song clip was 100 MB so it is impossible to upload it here. I made few still photos and *.mp3 at 128 kbps quality, but had to zip it in order to upload it here. The San Remo Song festival so far this year was really fantastic. There were four sessions of about 5 hours each starting 22:00-03:00 local time (I think that UK time would be 20:00-01:00). Some of the songs are really great. Many famous international guest stars were on the show. The presenter is the famous Pippo Baudo, assisted by his two talented lovely ladies Andrea Osvalt and Bianca Guaccerro. Also participating is the hilarous Piero Chiambretti. Tonight is the finale which should be a grand experience. Don't miss it. | ||
