ITV HD Humax HDCI-2000

Is it true that the Humax HDCI-2000 now views ITVHD as mentioned by Analoguesat on Digitalspy?

Cheers

My System: Topfield 7710 HD PVR, Humax HDCI2000 HD Orbital 80cm dish 3 LNB 13, 19.2 and 28.5 4/1 way diseqc Cas 3+ Diablo & TRex 4.6 Rover SDM2

Yes I've just got it working but it was a pain in the channel list! I used the formula program and after a load of trying copied the BBC HD entry then renamed it ITV HD then changed the transponder entry (right click over BBC frequency) to the Brit Shorts frequency previously found with a scan 11426 H 2/3. Then change SID to 0 V PID 3401 Audio 3402 PMT 3400 PCR 3401 I just left the text and subtitle settings as BBc HD as I don't know better!

If needed I could upload my non motorised 13, 19 28 list for someone to copy and paste the last line if I knew how.
Jem

EDIT I should have said I am still on V 11 firmware as I couldn't get CH4 HD on 15.

EDIT changed SID to 0 - read wrong line SORRY!. I will zip the channel list and post it later.

Freesat list with ITV HD Pic & Sound

I've attached a zip of my working list which is based on my setup of 13, 19 and 28 sats so unless you use the same I suggest you simply copy and paste the last line ITV HD and any others you want. The only way I could get it working was the method described above as there seems to be a hidden parameter somewhere I don't know which defines whether the channel is HD.

I hope this helps someone.

Thanks Jem, there probably is a setting needed to define if its H.264 or not, it would probably be the same on an SD h.264 broadcast if it was done in this round about way.

Excellent Jem. I used my own channel list (fixed one with multiple satellites) and did your PID conversion there. Working fine

Llew - you're welcome! Are you on firmware 15 -dare I upgrade?, I'm not too bothered about losing CH4 HD as the lip sync is so awful it puts me off the better picture.

Yes, version .15 works fine with my settings. I gave up on CH4 HD with the .15 S/W on the Humax. I only got audio.

OK for sync in my Passion though.

My System: HDCI 2000

I used the developers solution -
snip/
"I used the formula program and after a load of trying copied the BBC HD entry then renamed it ITV HD then changed the transponder entry (right click over BBC frequency) to the Brit Shorts frequency previously found with a scan 11426 H 2/3. Then change SID to 0 V PID 3401 Audio 3402 PMT 3400 PCR 3401 I just left the text and subtitle settings as BBC HD as I don't know better!"
/snip

This is still working on my HDCI200.

Except - after about 8 seconds the screen flashes blank and then..... all's well with no more flashes at all.

Was showing This Morning earlier on - now showing test bars and tones....

BTW, using V 15 software - no problems (other than Ch4 diabolical sync).

They're testing with bars and tone ATM.

Yes I noticed the flash too, first it starts for me with picture but no sound then coughs and the sound and picture are stable.

My System: as you are
no sound

First of all thank you for the precious tips!

I can't get both audio and video together, I mean:

if i set SID to the value reported in kingofsat i only get audio

if I set SID to zero i only get video.

I tried yesterday night and also now, with the bars, is the same.

Do you have any idea, please?

Did you follow developers method exactly?

All the other methods I tried failed.

You could take the freesat.zip file in post #3 - then you only need to cut the ITV HD entry and paste it into your own *.fdf file that you transferred from your STB.

Did you start by copying the BBC HD entry? I had all this trouble myself I'm sure there is another parameter not visible to us in the formula program. Settings are working for me so far as I can tell but the picture is a message saying service is unavailable! ATM

Yes, cut and paste from BBCHD, but now only video of the match, no audio

Which firmware do you use?

I use 1.15 with no sound.

Anyone using IT with sound OK?

Have you copied the line from your list and then edited, or have you copied it from the freesat file from the net?

Thanks in advance

solved the AUDIO problem

OK guys, I solved the audio problem!

I edited the BBCHD file, but mine was somehow different from the one attached here in the forum.

So simply copy the line in the file attached in this forum (change only the frequency as the formula probably will create an error during the cut and paste), because your line could be different and not updated.

P.S. I'm using 1.15.

Good night

HDCI:2000.

Can someone please explain to me "exactly what I have to do" to get ITV:HD on the Humax?? I can follow most of this thread, - but quite frankly all this cut and paste stuff concerning pasting this file over the top of that file etc. Leaves me very confused!! I'm using Ver:15.
