Receiving other programmes

With a Freesat decoder can one receive programmes from other satellites?

My System: IDD CI24 ECONO MM Penta 1.20 Galaxy II 1.2Mtr Polar MTG yes it has been on the arc for 21 years and is still driven by a modified wiper motor from a Ford Anglia. It's like me sometimes groans but always performs

Not unless you have multiple lnb's or a motorised dish

Thanks Topper.By the same token can i receive with a Free to Air receiver all the channels that are available on the Freesat decoder.If in the affirmative why purchase a Freesat decoder/receiver.

Well apart from C5 which is FTV and not yet FTA and the fact there is no dedicated freesat epg............... very little, you do of course get the chance to Beta test them now isn't that fun!

Edit, having said that I just realised that you are in South Africa so the answer must be for you no

My System: TM6800HD+TD110+StabHH90 motor,TM1000D+Orbital 1m Multifeed 16E,23E,28E.DigitAlB movies. A Bigsat BS-S77CX and a Sky Dodgibox.

Because it has a proper EPG, and the idea is for it to be much easier to setup than your usual FTA receiver.

My System: Dbox + Skystar2, 2.2m Kinhuge Dish with Inverto LNB and Invacom ADF-120 feedhorn. Pace 1.3.25 and 80cm for Sky.

And HD compliant.
