You first set the stb to a freesat frequency selected from here and connect a portable tv that can be seen through the window from the dish and adjust the dish very slowly or do it by flexing. You have to wait at least a couple of seconds for the processing to take place before a picture is displayed the sound in my experience usually kicks in first. Your dish should look similar in elevation to the piture below

My System: 43cm Dish, Sky Plus v2, Thomson DSI4214, FRACARRO PENTA 85cm, Invacom Twin, Moteck SG2100a H-H DiSEqC Motor, TF5000CI, TM-5200D, Sling Media, Rover Discovery ST-4, Rover SDM-1s, 57E to 58W, Tecatel 1.35m fixed on 28e, Pace D5430-N | It can be done with a Sl<y receiver but not sure it can be done with the foxsat without seeing the screen at the dish location Use a compass to set the dish to the close enough direction and then use an in-line powered signal meter less than £10.
