Hi there

This coming weekend I will be in the UK for a few medical ckecks. My Pace DS810 is hooked into 11428 and picks up both HD & non HD signals of the highest quality in all kinds of weather any time of the day or night.
My plans are to buy a Humax HD receiver. My daughter lives in Jersey so a post code is not a problem. Is there anyone out there that uses a Humax HD receiver in Portugal or is there anyone out there that can give me advice. My dish is 2.5 metrs.

What advice do you need?

I assume that you can pick up all of Astra 2D and Eurobird 1, if so you shouldn't have a problem. Argos sell the Humax Foxsat HD for about £150.

Just to let you know I have just returned from the UK with the Humax Foxsat HD. It is an amazing bit of kit, it cost me £149 from Argus. very small compared to the other two boxes I have. Picture quality on non HD pictures are better than it was before using the Pace HD kit . The HD set at 1080 , I'm lost for words. Installation is very quick, no problems, I followed your advice , I now have 110 channels with more coming by the day including channel 4. Last week I installed the same kit at my cousins place in London, it down loaded 89 channels so Sky is now being chased. I am looking forward to the new HD channels due before the year end.
