i connected panasonic freesat tv the router when will there be any content

hi i connected my tv to the router and the connection is fine just wanted to know when bbc iplayer will come live. some one said november but i cant find any thing on the freesat site all so any one know how u would access internet content as i can not see any thing. ps its connected with a ethernet cable.
