connect freesat to laptop

Have freesat setup including 12v box with IF out, phono (3) out, scart (2) out and rs232 male. Have laptop with rs232 male, mini firewire and usb ports. Can I connect the box to the computer to use as tv in motorhome and if so how?

I doubt it if you can do that directly, as you didn't mention any video input on the laptop.
You can try:
1 - Use LCD monitor with AV input, and a cheap audio amplifier (the type used with PC with RCA input connectors)
2 - Use DVB-S USB card, instead of the freesat. But you might not have EPG.
3 - Use a USB TV card which has AV inputs. (should be the cheapest solution)
