My System: Standard mini-dish connected via Humax Foxsat-HD box to Samsung L37A686 full-HD TV
Question World Cinema Channel & Community Channel In Non-Freesat Mode

Getting really poor reception on these...have tried manual reinstall on both (12643 V 27500 2/3 and 12226 H 27500 2/3 respectively) but loads of signal drop. Otherwise receiving +/- 400 channels no problem and with good signal quality.

Does anyone know if there is a specific transponder problem or similar with these 2 channels?

Also, if this post would fit better within another forum please advise.

My System: Triax 1.1m and Orbital 80cm Motorised Dishes. Various fixed Dishes. Eclectic selection of Digital and Analogue Receivers. Complex switching and distribution that SWMBO cannot fathom. Nor me.

Transponders around 12460 MHz can be adversely affected by DECT phones ...................... Try turning off any such devices.

Whilst appreciating that this is a bit off the mark frequency wise for your specific dodgy TPs, the principle might apply to any "noisy" electronic equipment, so go around turning things off and see if you can find a culprit.

If proved, relocate and/or improve screening of your Satellite cabling system - in particular avoid extension cabling, wall faceplates etc.

Second Guess

I had a problem with my Foxsat performing poorly at the top end of the band and cured it with an LNB change.

Oddly, the former LNB works perfectly ok on another Dish/Rx.
