My System: Dreambox 7020S
Missing Channels BBC News 24

I seem to be missing a number of channels including BBC News 24, BBC Parliment etc.

I am running a Dreambox 7020 connected to a Sky minidish. I have tried manually scaning using the following settings:

11954 H 27500 2/3

With these setting it finds nothing on at 11954. Any suggestions?

Well

No not really since those are the correct settings for those channels.

It could me many things including

lnb failing
psu failing
cable damaged

it is outside of the problem range for DECT phones but perhaps a WIFI router is nearby.

Apart from those nothing, what is the age of all the bits of equipment?

The dish and lnb were got from Sky around 5 years ago. They were then moved to my new address about three years ago.

There is a wireless router which is around 1 m from the box and 5m from the dish

1 mtr is very close in my book, have you tried switching it off and repeating the scan, some WIFI routers are poorly shielded and emit all sorts of interference.

If not the above I would guess though the lnb to be the problem, does it affect any other channels/frequencies? ......worth changing after 5 years of life though as they are cheap as chips.

Tried switching of the Router and that made no difference. I will be upgrading the dish to a motorised system in the next month or so, hopefully that will resolve the issue.

If you change the lnb it may very well do
