My System: Triax 1.1m and Orbital 80cm Motorised Dishes. Various fixed Dishes. Eclectic selection of Digital and Analogue Receivers. Complex switching and distribution that SWMBO cannot fathom. Nor me.

I wonder if the Card is a Yellow House one that has become the latest victim of the ongoing Card swop?

If this is FSFS, then your Card will only be replaced if you bought it as an FSFS Card up to 3 years ago (5 years if it came with a Box and Installation).

If it is an old Subs Card, you won't get a new one.

That said, it doesn't open much and all the stuff satelliteman () mentioned should be available to you regardless.

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

If the card is a couple of years old or has been re-issued with a new card, then the old card will eventually switch off, did you get any messages prior to this one?

If you go into services, system setup, system details, does it show the viewing card details?

If the card has expired, try removing it and then rebooting the box.

And Another Thing

Another way in which a valid Card can cease functioning is if you are in the habit of unplugging the Box from the Mains - Cards are refreshed ("Keep Alive") every now and then by a signal sent via the Satellite. If your Box misses it, then the Card can go to sleep. In that event, just leave it in the powered up (Standby is fine) Box and it will wake up within 72 hours.

Thank you

Thank you all for your replies - it seems as though one of my previous customers had changed the tuning on the TV (it is in a holiday let that is) - Got in touch with the guy who installed it and he managed to fix it with the present occupier, so thank you for your help on this.
