My System: FreeSat using Grundig STB
Grundig STB died

People,

My first post so if I make a mistake please tell me.

I have had freesat for 8 months using a Grundig GUFSAT01SD box. The box is set to auto update and it did this evening after we came back from an extended trip.

The update halted midway, for some reason. I tried a power cycle to reset the box and now it is totally dead - no blue light, no response to the controls.

Any suggestions as to the next step(s)?

Thanks,

Dave

Hello

Welcome to the forum dave.vinograd

Well to be honest the only real chance you have is if you remove the power lead for 24/48 hours and hope.....

Failing that it will have to go back since it should still be under warranty

People,

It was under warranty and was replaced with the new model. - GUFSAT02SD. The remote is the same but the box is quite different. Green light to say it is on, loss of various inputs and outputs including second scart and ethernet.

Please consider this thread closed.
