My System: Triax 1.1m and Orbital 80cm Motorised Dishes. Various fixed Dishes. Eclectic selection of Digital and Analogue Receivers. Complex switching and distribution that SWMBO cannot fathom. Nor me. | Perhaps it's my cold, buut I din't understand the question! The Comag is a Satellite Receiver. DVB T is not Satellite, but Digital Terrestrial - so the Card cannot relate in any way to Satellite. Can you elucidate? (Nicely ................ )

Nor me. | Ah, well I don't have the 12V, just the Mains Variant (SL65). I do know they are not exactly the same as regards features, but you certainly have no RF Modulator which doesn't help. The available Outputs are SCART, Optical, S-Video and some little Coaxial jobbie that I can't quite make out without toppling my stack of kit in the Shack! I suspect the answer is "No". I hope someone proves me wrong

My System: Comag portable 12 volt HP pavilion dv 9000 | Ok It looks like some one put me on a bum steer then, the reason I bought the Comag was because I could not get a decent signal using my DVB-T when I was out in my campervan, I was told to buy the Maplins Magmount aerial but that has not improved things, I am in the Merseyside area and it is a pretty good signal area, have you any suggestions to improve my reception? cheers Colin

Nor me. | Ah, yes - missed that crucial point! Another solution would be to bin the DVB-T Card and the Comag and get yourself a DVB-S USB Tuner for the Lappie. About 50 notes.

Nor me. | Just running through the alternatives: But it isn't the answer to Post #1 as you'd be replacing the Comag 12v Receiver with a USB Satellite Receiver. That's not the same as making use of the Comag Receiver! Quite the opposite. My System: Sky HD, Sky Amstrad PVR3, Technomate TM9100, Targa TSR5200, Fortec Star 5100CI Diamond plus half a dozen more | Neither the SL65/12 or SL30/12 from Comag have an RF output, the only choice is composite video (CVBS). To display on your laptop you will need a device with a composite video input such as Videoh CD (or later versions from Adaptec - connects by USB) or a TV tuner which accepts CVBS or other video input device. You will still need to set up the dish (which comes in the system), connect receiver to it and align dish. I have used such a setup successfully although I now use a portable 12v DVD player with composite inputs as it uses a lot less power than the laptop.

The Videoh CD was a similar device I picked up from a car boot sale and does the same job but was slower and USB 1. It's a nuisance but we do it so that spammers don't get a free lift to their sites in Google ranking. See http://www.satellites.co.uk/satellit...ement.php?f=31 "Links and publicity", first rule.

Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser. | I would personally forget about the Comag and buy a USB satellite receiver, they normally run on 12v supply (ideal for motorhome), so would take one box out of the equation.
