I do not know what is going on but looking at the nordic beam map on lyngsat they appear to have re-shaped the nordic beam and tightly focussed it indeed if you extrapolate the EIRP in relation to the distances between 54 and 50 and 50 and 44 as though it were the height contours on a map it seems you may now need in excess of a 4 mtr dish for Dublin I'm sorry to say

My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 5 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/13E/16E /19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S ![]() The last noble sat warrior to fly the olden flag of Analogue | As usual those coverage maps are underestimating the downlink powers. The Nordic beam is doing far better than SES expected, and is an exceptionally easy catch here now on a (battered) 80cm dish. The surprise for me has been the FSS beam is by far the weakest of the three, and is the first to break up in heavy rain.
