Post AMC-6 in SE Spain

Can anyone specify the dish size needed for AMC-6 (72 degrees West) for southeastern Spain?

Thanks.

My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 5 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/13E/16E /19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S

Ku band - not a hope in hell.

C band - total guesswork but extrapolating the footprint on Lyngsat - 10m possibly more.

72W will also be VERY low on the horizon - probably about 5 degrees so unless you live on top of a mountain theres little hope of getting it.

I live in a house in an altidude near 830 metres. I don't live in the top of a mountain. How can you extrapolate the AMC-6 KU band footprint to SE Spain? Thanks, but the satellite is not visible in the Balearic Islands.

The footprint is easy - look at this link:

http://www.lyngsat-maps.com/maps/amc6_c.html

see how sharply the power levels drop mid Atlantic. That 27dB contour near the Canary Islands already means a 5m dish is needed! I just work out roughly how far the signal will decrease further eastwards (very roughly - I said it was guesswork)

Give up - you have no chance of it with any sensible sized hobby dish.
