Not true Turok. As proven by several people 83E/93.5E Ku Band is possible in regular basis. Even West Africa Beam from 22W is possible in Greece. But returning to 92.2E i have to ask if anybody got a signal yet.

Paolo, did DX Bozoth receive it ?

Well guys, China seems to run its own system called ABS. Somebody in the rdi board said it could only be gotten by certain chinese receivers. Looks like a cheap pseudo-encryption mode since all (?) the state channels are now beeing transmitted over 92.2E.

So: Game over !

Ciao Paolo,

Thanks for the info. Seems that DVB-S receivers cannot show a sign of life on ABS signals. Nice to see you also on RDI.

Best regards from hot Stoccarda.

Maybe next weekend I'll try to get it. But have you checked a footprint map?

hi
yes the footprint is not important
please check with spectrum analyzer
or with a signal meter
because with the dec oder

you dont have any chance
because the modulation
is not DVB S BUT strange

ABS MODULATION
a proprietary decoder is needed!

thanks
ciao

in my location
my east limit is 93,5 east

i teoretically can receive 92,2 !
no problem
