My System: 1,25 Fibostop Jäger Smr 1224 Dual Axsis Echostar Dvr 7000 Monterey 140 Tagra 2,20 M Fullsize Dish Echostar 2,40m Mesch for cband! | Hello! the sabc channels sabc 1-3 are now in kuband sending on the south africa beam,no signal here in europe! sabc news,i think its now in the satelite on europe beam (kuband) sending with fec 1/2,that means, signal should be strong enoug, with a normal 90 cm dish for this news channel alone! sabc in cband,is only a part of the multchoice networt, the signal on this transponder,is much lower, then on the others! with 2,40 mesh antenna! in past,a member told here,on board,if i remeber right it was channel hopper that lives in london, and he says with 3,60 m only signal on one polarisation, the other with multicoice on it no signal, rember 68,5e is very deep declination, and in uk nearly behind the horizont....

My System: 1.2 m Eurostar dish KU band W3A, 3.7M C band on the arc from Atlantic bird3 to Measat 3, 1.5 m offset on PAS 10 KU, 70cm Offset on Eutelsat W2, 3.4m prodelin prime fibreglass on Intelsat 906 64 Deg E STARTRACK NC707 Plus, Skystar 2 DVB card | Yes Turok must be right for the dish size. I received SABC NEWS International on africa/europe beam(12722V/PAS 10) with a 120cm dish. But I am out of footprint( less than 40dBW Eirp). London is 44.6 dBW.

My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 5 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/13E/16E /19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S ![]() The last noble sat warrior to fly the olden flag of Analogue | The problem for the UK with 68E is that its only about 5 degrees above the horizon at best , so ANY obstructions - trees / hills / buildings out to the SE mean its out of range.
