My System: Kabel BW | 70W C-Band in Florida would be really interesting. Since i knew where most US C-Band experts discuss i decided after many years of awareness of its existance to register at _http://www.satelliteguys.us/index.php. Believe it or not, after i posted this question and one other about 13E reception in Djibouti, they banned me without any reason. It's the first time i've been banned and it seems that i won't ever know why. Nevertheless, some C-Band cracks living in Southern Florida might have luck on really huge dishes. By the way, this satellite has the most analogue channels on it worldwide which should make it easier to find even the weakest signal on it.

![]() I remember you mentioned a Mexican board called humexico.... probably they are better C-band experts. Also we have a member here, who is a moderator of a Puerto Rican FTA board. His nickname is "luiscolo". You can read his 2 posts if you go to The Meeting Place section, then to his thread "Hot Rumor" dated 17.09.2008. I remember, I googled his nickname and I found his FTA forum boards! But now I can't recall the name of it. He could be your contact man in the whole of Latin America, as I remember he was after Spanish speaking tv, so he should know about South American ssatellites.

My System: Kabel BW | Hello divibi and thanks for your interest. You're right i haven't been there quite a while. Humexico is really good for big dish reception issues. Though i haven't seen there any 70W reception topics. Hope that luiscolo answers to my post. Puerto Rico is just on the theoretical 34dbW edge of its beam so a 3m should get quite a lot there. Although the content is in Portuguese i believe that some big dish DXers could have tested this. Florida and Mexico are further North/-west so this is another issue but at least the Caribbean is a nice place to start at.
