My System: TM6800HD, TM1000, TM600 Linux,TM5200, TM2200 motor, Triax TD110 dish + Fortec 85cm. Meter=Satlook Micro+G2 NIT

Which channels or transponders have you got?

Most likely is that you need a much bigger dish to get the rest. The actual size needed is unknown by the members on the forum at this time.

My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 6 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/10E/13E/16E/ 19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S

The last noble sat warrior to fly the olden flag of Analogue

That would be about right for the new Astra 1M which covers the Middle East nicely. You CANT get the other channels - you are outside the coverage area.

Analoguesat's message to the world
Analogue forever!

Hello khilji,
Can you help with this thread:
http://www.satellites.co.uk/satellit...h-posible.html
We are trying to find out the best dish size in Dubai for a hotel to get as much of Astra 19.2E channels as possible.
Can you ask dish installers or local forum if 5m or 7m is a good size and in which buildings it is installed?
Thank you.

You can't have Astra's channels in ME (as I Know). The best and finest signal you can have is near Turkey and north of Iran where you'll receive the channels with parasites and not what we receive like the Hotbird ones. Try to change the satellite or find other solutions.

Astra 1M channels on the wide beam can be received in the Middle East.
The original poster is confirming this using 1.2m dish.
