My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 6 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/10E/13E/16E/ 19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S

The map suggests you are on the 38dB line, so start thinking about 2.5m - possibly bigger

Thats a C-band bird, and according to the Intelsat site shes putting out about 36dB at the edge of the C-band beam. About 2.5-3m for that one if the channel is on the western hemisphere beam - if its not forget it.

Doesnt look like either are carried elsewhere so you are looking at something well over 2.5m for either route as noted above.

The other thing to investigate is if the Tanzanian channels are streamed over the internet.

My System: Kabel BW

I cannot tell for sure if you'll be able to get 64.2E from Abu Dhabi but what i can say for sure is, that here in Southern Germany at least 2 people get this satellite. On 2.30m some frequencies can be received, others need more but on 3.70m they are ok as one can see here _http://forum.dxtv.de/wbb/thread.php?threadid=3506

You have to deal with these 2 footprints:
_http://www.lyngsat-maps.com/maps/intel906_swzone.html
_http://www.lyngsat-maps.com/maps/intel906_westhemi.html

My recommendation:
Look for a well equipped satellite shop in your surrounding. Preferrably at least 3m C-Band dish that can be aimed to 64.2E so that you can check yourself how strong the signal is in your region. TBC1 at 36E might be a little easier to get but nobody knows if the transmission is longlasting. At least the source of this transmission is 64.2E. And ITV you'll be able to get as well only from latter.

I demand: Pay-TV subscriptions worldwide available - with any receiver - just like print magazines !

Keep trying throughout the evening and night if possible - in extreme fringe conditions you can get the receptiion varying throughout the day.
