Only if you are pointing to the right satellite and the signal is strong enough for Cyprus. For example a 2.4m dish will pick up most of sky uk in Cyprus but for bbc/itv we need a 3m. Do you know anybody that is receiving skylink here ?

My System: TM6800HD, TM1000, TM600 Linux,TM5200, TM2200 motor, Triax TD110 dish + Fortec 85cm. Meter=Satlook Micro+G2 NIT

The footprints for the skylink transponders can be found from here:-

_http://www.lyngsat.com/packages/skylink.html

It will be down to dish size needed.

It needs to point to 23.5E not 19.2E.

My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 6 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/10E/13E/16E/ 19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S

Ooh you are in a bad place for Skylink reception - none of the coverage footprints are favourable for Cyprus, with the stuff on Astra 3A being on an especially nasty footprint for you.

cheryline, so your 2.2m dish is now pointing at 23.5E as beeing recommended also at _http://www.satellites.co.uk/satellite/fringe-reception-general/148531-czech-tv-cyrpus.html ?

It would be interesting to see which frequencies in particular you do receive now.
