More and more people from Cyprus are asking about reception conditions at 19.2E, so i decided to open this thread where everybody can help. Since there seem to be differences from the West to the East parts of the island it's essential to add the location and of course the dish size. Ideally would be a sum up which frequencies can (not) be received with a certain size. The 19.2E reception starts from 80cm but questions come up like what would a 1.20m, 1.50m, 1.80m, 2.40m, 3m offer more ? Besides Astra 1F which is definetely far too weak even on 3m, 1M Widebeam is easy but the rest not really. 1H has a bad focus as we all know but the newer 1KR/L/M Europe don't have and this makes it rather hard to recommend the suitable dish size if the signal East of Rodos falls rapidly. Hope in the name of those that are desperately seeking help to see lots of reports here.

My System: Kabel BW | @Zorba: Thanks very much for your quick reply over pm. Indeed 1.20m was ok for most of the channels in times of 1G/H before 1M but now 1G has moved and 1H could be worse than before. At least this is what people from all over Greece and in special from the Southern Aegean tell. They could be more affected than residents in Cyprus because of the very strong neighbouring 1M frequencies producing intermodulation products. In Cyprus 1M is weaker but if the difference in between 1H and 1M is big enough, systems with bad cross polar discrimination and incorrect skew (you know SES Astra has it optimized for Central Europe) there might be major losses. I've been told in Eastern Crete you can get 1KR/L/M on 80cm full but 1H needs 2.40m to have 24/7 reception on all frequencies. For Rodos the situation is the same but somewhere East of there 1KR/L/M also get weaker. What i don't know is which of the frequencies get weak and how much so even if your dish is "just" 1.50m it will be of big help. Thanks once again. Greetings from Stuttgart.
