Ok I'm going out on a limb here after reading all the forums on fibo 120s, it looks like they come around very infrequently and go just as quickly, but I just want to hypothosise and see where it take me... I'm told the ideal dish size in Madrid is really between 1.5 and 1.8m I have a large roof terrace so could go the whole hog.. I've pondered it for about a year or so..CM dish probably if I went that way. Trouble is the better half can use a tape measure ! and quickly realised a 1.8m dish is well big ! (her words.. hence the year pondering) I think I can get away with 1.2m, but I'm still worried about dropping channels at peak times in the evening. Then I came across some forums talking about FIBOs and the 120 stuck out, seems it will give a gain close to a 1.5m offset, perfect for me. (and likely everyone else) So the questions to the knowledgeable people. Anyone using a FIBO in spain for 28.2E that can give me some advice ? Is it worth trying to hold out to see if some gullable fool will sell me his or just go with an offset 1.2 CM ? Anyone want to sell me one ? I'll consider* all offers. Also a rather odd and slightly off topic question. I still have access to a property back in the UK, anyone ever tried setting up a IP PBX phone system to a house abroad linked via VPN to dial out of the UK PSTN number so the sky box can callback sky remotely (Guess it would also have the benifit of being able to make you phone ring abroad when sombody rings you home UK number) (I'm thinking Asterisk boxs in case.) Would seem to be a cheap and easy way to have a legit(ish) Multiroom install at the 49GBP offers ? and a pretty sweet and cheap IP phone system. Ta Flipit

My System: 2600c1 | Flipit, I cannot help you with the Fibo, but I can tell you that I use a CM 1.2 m in the centre of Madrid and am very happy with it. However there are some negatives, but I am happy to live with them. They are, no BBC2 and if there is a big thunderstorm the signal goes. Luckily though Madrid usually is sunny.

My System: Humax Foxsat | -http://www.electronicadelhogar.com/b2c/ are pretty decent peoplethough i dont think they flog Cm dishes. -http://www.antena365.com/ And antnetdigital in arroyomolinas :- -http://www.antnetdigital.com/en/pages/lnb_dishes.html I was skint when i came over a year ago, and the missus wouldnt let me stick a 1.5 m in our small garden. I ended up with a 1m dish which is close to useless here. If you can get the biggest that she who must be obeyed will allow. I have to say since all i can get are crap channels new etc, i hardly ever use the system. Pity
