My System: basic dish in croatia. No computer
What can I get in Split?

Hello all,
I've just bought an apartment on an Island just off the coast from Split.
There's a system installed but but there's no signal
As I'm going to be renting the apartment out I'd like to be able to say that Sat TV is installed.

Spec:
85cm dish.
Maximum SF10 LNB
Digitall World SFT1000. (has multiple card slots)

I've bought a second hand horizon meter which I'm struggling with....

Can somebody tell me please:
What can I get without buying a subscription/card?
Is my hardware OK?
If I need to buy a card, which one and from where?
What sat I should be aiming for?
Point me to a beginners guide to satellite installation?
A real novice starting from scratch here
Thanks for any help...
Colin
