Can any members here receive the orbit channels on eurobird 2 25.5 east or on atlantic bird 4a 7.2w . A quick on flysat shows they are already moving channels on to 7.2w i have also been told orbit will end the transponders on 8w when they do this i will not be able to watch orbit news or the other orbit channels.

My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 6 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/10E/13E/16E/ 19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S

Depends how big your dish is!

Atlantic Bird 4A (aka Hotbird 10) has its beam slewed well south of the UK. I havent seen any successful reports of AB4A reception in the UK.

EB2 has been received in a few places but the downlink power is very poor in the UK.

No update required - when/if 8W goes off you are going to need an insanely large dish if you want to continue to watch Orbit!
