My System: technomateTM - 1500 CI super Motorised Triax 1.1m dish
Satellite in Dordogne

I'm looking at buying a property in the Dordogne region of France and would like to know if my 1.1 metre dish is big enough to pick up the English stations on Astra and also the digitalb sport on eutalsat
Many thanks

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

Yes, should be fine, will that be motorised?

Lovely area by the way, which part of the dordogne.

My System: Gibertini 1M XP Premium - Inverto Black Ultra .2db LNB - Technomate 2200 motor - Vantage 7100 HD. 57E - 22W - 60cm solid oval dish fixed on 28.2 - Humax Freesat HD - Sony Bravia LCD - Sony BluRay and Sony Home Cinema

Hi,

Just to confirm, I have no problems with Astra 28°E (even on a solid 60cm oval dish) and also receive a strong signal from 16°E on my 1M Gibertini.

Can't really see you having any issues with a 1.1M. In fact I'd be interested to hear what results you get from Nilesat down in the Dordogne, I can pick up verticals nearly all the time in fine weather and some horizontals too.

Hi,
Thanks for the info, my wife would be quite upset if she couldn't watch her soaps lol
Looking at the area just below the Dordogne actually, Lot -et - Garonne, Marmande or upwards towards Bergerac
The system I have now is motorised so would stick with that, I like to see what I can find on different satellites
